From racism to kid play, industry experts show how meeting
the needs of moms can be good for business during 3rd
Annual M2Moms™ -The Marketing-to-Moms Conference

-- How motherhood differs for black and white American
women and how to reach moms through strategic mom-child
connections are among the key issues being addressed
at M2Moms™ -The Marketing-to-Moms Conference,
October 23-24, 2007, Chicago Cultural Center. This third
annual event will feature an impressive mix of industry
leaders sharing their insights into how brands can increase
sales by solidifying their relationship with today's
mom market.
A M2Moms™ keynote presenter,
Leslie Morgan Steiner, editor of the best-selling anthology
Mommy Wars, and the daily online work/family columnist
for washingtonpost.com, will present findings from her
national survey, Women in Black & White. "We
long wondered why candid communication and camaraderie
between black and white women is rare in America,"
says Morgan Steiner. "So we decided to create a
survey exploring how life, love, work, motherhood, money,
sex, religion and relationships differ for black and
white American women. Knowing how these women view motherhood
and the impact they feel racism and prejudice has on
their children will help brands effectively communicate
their marketing messages."
